Pics from our Boston Trip

Here are some pics from our Boston trip! We had a great time! Just wish we could have more time to sight-see!

On the plane headed to Boston Logan Airport...super nice airport!



Upon arriving for the conference, we realized we'd be staying in a college dorm all week and sleeping on bunk beds!! All we had for our bunks is what you see...a pillow and a sheet! The dorm had no air conditioning, though, so it was all good!



Walking the Freedom Trail...At this point, we were touring the burial sites of Paul Revere, Benjamin Franklin's parents, Samuel Adams, and many more!



All 160 of us at the CEF Training Week took a sunset cruise of the Boston Harbor on Wednesday night! We had a great time!



Loved being able to see Boston by boat! It was a beautiful night!



Excuse the mess -- we were packing up to leave -- but by the week's end, we definitely had the bunk beds side by side!!!



We were really grateful to CEF for asking Dustin and I to join them in Boston for their summer mission project. We were truly moved by everyone's passion to the see the children of Boston come to know Christ. They are doing Bible clubs all this week, so we are continuing to lift them up in prayer!

First Trip Away

Dustin and I are currently in Boston, MA. We are leading worship for a CEF training event. We left Hudson at home with Dustin's parents, so we have been enjoying a week of relaxation and not much responsibility!! This is the first time we have left Hudson for an extended time. It has been hard, but I know it's been good for all of us!! He's getting some quality time with his grandparents! We've really enjoying getting away and we've also been able to do some sightseeing while we've been here! We fly home in the morning and we cannot wait to hold our little boy!! I will post pics from our trip later!
